Teen Gothic

My partner and I have both dreamed of opening a cafe type business, and both of us had a similar experience of growing up in the scene but not having a place to hangout other then malls. Even now as adults we don’t really go to nightclubs, and there aren’t many quiet places to be part of the scene and hangout for people with sensory issues or who aren’t allowed in the clubs or bars. We were considering a goth themed cafe where people could come and be a part of the scene in a calmer atmosphere. But this would only be possible if people were actually interested, otherwise it wouldn’t exactly be successful. Would the Chicago scene be interested in a place like that?

Went to a record fair for the first time in while and walked away with a copy of “Stay With Me” signed by the band and promo disc from Theatre of Hate. Finds like this are harder to get than they used to be, but they’re still out there for those willing to dig through stacks!
