Teen Gothic

I saw twin tribes last night and they were amazing! This was my first time at a goth concert and I had so much fun. Loved the energy, and everyone was so kind. I was a little anxious because I would be going alone, but I had a lovely night. I would definitely see them again!

I'm trying to plan my schedule and avoid leaving a venue after a few minutes and being late for something that’s actually good lol. So far I'm most looking forward to seeing Topographies, Sextile and Dancing Plague, I think they've never been to Europe before.

For me personally, Sisters of Mercy, and She Wants Revenge were both fantastic live. Forever wishing I got the chance to see Bauhaus !!!!!

I’m seeing lebanon hanover later this month and am super stoked for it. Anyone seen them here and can confirm they’re brilliant ?!

Theyre a must see live. Their show is incredibly fun and you can see the passion in both of them while they’re playing their pieces. At the end while they were cleaning up I accidentally snuck by security and thanked them for the show and Luis Navarro reached out his hand and gave me a handshake before security escorted me out of the area. That was such an incredible experience!!!

Last night deathrock band WitchHands (from Colorado Springs) played an interesting and funny set in between two great horror punk bands at The Crypt here in Denver. They would like to introduce their new member: Dæmien Alexander – from Plague Garden, Ceremonial Leather, and formerly of Radio Scarlet. I captured this moment in time while aslo shooting photos at the show. WitchHands are good people. Please support them if they play a near you. Are there any popular or semi-popular goth bands that are currently touring and reocrd with a live drummer?

I feel like most of the big names currently and in most of the 21st century are all useing drum machines, but maybe I'm just not paying close enough attention?

They were amazing last night, go see them if you can, totally worth it.

Have you seen any goth bands this year or last year that just sounded so different or bad that they weren't worth seeing? Or ones that didn't put much effort into the performance?
I saw Pink Turns Blue a few months ago and they sounded like a generic indie rock band, and I don't just mean the new stuff. Different song arrangements, zero energy, nothing sounded goth/punk anymore. I got so bored that I left the show early. The musicians seemed bored as well.
