Teen Gothic

For some reason Forever from Siouxsie and the Banshees is removed from Spotify? I can’t find the Rapture Remastered album, did something happen legally?

Just looking for other bats to talk to it’s rare seeing other goth/alternative people where I live. Would love to meet some new people 🌚

I have plenty of tips, I’ll leave some here and you guys can drop some in the comments so everyone can get ideas for diys while also teaching others :))

Here’s some tips:

• if you find jewelry at a store that has stones, and you want them not to be colored and make them more gothic, use black nail polish on the stone to give it that effect

• a simple black shirt can be make more gothic with some scissors and distressing, add patterns with the cuts

-if you have a patch/diy jacket or blazer, attach old earring or necklace charms to the fabric with safety pins to give it some flare

So when I move out and live on my own, I'm gonna get into the goth scene. What could I expect going in to goth clubs?

i personally try to look for recs (i find the masterlist too big and overwhelming) and then listen to every one of the bands albums if i like them. is that what most others do, or do you prefer playlists or just looking thru the goth band masterlist and listening to all of them?

So, beloved 90s Darkwave band Switchblade Symphony has two versions of their third album, The Three Calamities, for sale on their bandcamp. One of them has "(2022 Remaster)" after all of the tracks. I've tried to listen to both and figure out the difference, but I'm just sort of sitting here going, "Is this one maybe brighter? Or something??" Are my speakers just not good enough? What do you think?
