Miranda Sex Garden reunion

Maybe not trad goth (more avant-garde ethereal with sinister undertones) but still an important part of this scene… Anyway, are there any msg fans here? Got some very exciting news – MSG return for their first public performance since 2000 – on July 28th 2022 at the 100 club, London. (They actually reunited just before covid happened and had rehearsed but the pandemic has knocked the wind out their sails). Thankfully there will be finally a chance to see them live after 22 years.

"Formed in 1990, the band pioneered a unique sound blending madrigals with dark industrial rock. Following the success of albums including Madra, Suspiria and Fairytales of Slavery, in 2000 the band created their most accessible yet explosive album Carnival of Souls. Widely toured but never formally released, that lost album was the last recorded work of the band. Now they return with original members from that time, led by Katharine Blake (vocals) and with Trevor Sharpe on drums, Teresa Casella on bass and Mike Servent on keyboards. Tragically, founding guitarist Ben Golomstock died in 2018, but his sound lives on through Kavus Torabi (Cardiacs, Gong). Performer Bev Lee Harling (Mediaeval Baebes) completes the group."

Romantic, sad, and melodic goth songs?

I’m looking for song recommendations that fit the title. I’ve been listening to alot of Pink Turns Blue, Traitrs, Sad Lovers & Giants, The Chameleons lately (to name a few). Here are a couple songs I’ve been particularly enjoying:

-Tomorrow never comes – Pink turns blue

-Second Skin – The Chameleons

-Lost in a moment – Sad lovers & giants

-After all – Pink turns blue

I sit and watch the worm beneath my nail – Traitrs

I’m not a very big fan of noisy music, I prefer the music to be more “clear” (if that makes sense), and I’m not a big fan of overly dissonant sounding songs either.

I know that this is possibly a long shot, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Thank you in advance🖤
