The Cure on the first leg of their tour😍The show was amazing and I may or may not have cried a few times…

I got the opportunity to go see the Cure for my birthday, and everything about it was fantastic! We got to sit on the edge of the nosebleeds overhang, but eventually moved to the very back wall to dance since we wouldn't be bothering anyone up there and the view wasn't all that different (possibly even better since we could stand up!) They spaced out their more popular songs really well, and even played some songs they hadn't performed since the 80s, as well as new music😁The Twilight Sad was also really really good, so if you haven't heard of them definitely check out their music! They lean a bit more towards darkwave, so it was nice to contrast that with The Cure's more chill, atmospheric vibe from the first half of the show, which evolved to a more upbeat collection of their music. If you're on the fence about going, it's definitely worth it to see both bands, especially since the tickets are so affordable. Had a great time and Robert's still got the same incredible voice as when he recorded the songs❤️ https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-twilight-sad/2023/smoothie-king-center-new-orleans-la-6bb9a22a.html https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-cure/2023/smoothie-king-center-new-orleans-la-4bb9a38e.html
