Teen Gothic

i need more black artists that sound like bauhaus , this cold night , joy division..etc. i would like to see more black movie directors and black leads in movies like nosferatu , crimson peak , and frankenstein. i would like to see more vampy, occultic, victorian gothic people that are black in general.

i feel so disconnected from my black peers and my goth peers and im tired of feeling like an “oreo” because it feels like the only people that make media and music that fits my interest are white people. i know that there has to be more representation but it it really hard to find 😞

i am not a self-hating black person nor do i “wish to be white”, i just need to see more black people that find my niche.
