Teen Gothic

I'm autistic, and I've always struggled with making connections. it's hard for me to read social cues and it takes me a really long time to understand etiquette for online community spaces like this subreddit's discord. I'm not shy but I do sometimes fear coming off as too blunt/forward. does anyone have any tips on how to connect with fellow goths, in person or online?
