Okay I believe I am a goth ok? I know I am goth ok? My playlist on YouTube has over sixty songs ranging from 'Watch' by Sisters of Mercy to 'Saddest Smile' by Lebanon Hanover, back to 'Dark Entries' by Bauhaus to Horsegirl's 'Anti-glory'.

Hell, I live, breath & consume my own freakin' dark entries every day. I haven't been all that 'interactive' with other goths because I have bipolar & don't go out much. Recently i went on my own to an event advertised as 'Goth Night' & was flabbergasted when the music played by the DJ (who looked as if she was goth) was EBM dance trance music which sounded nowhere near goth, more like disco. A guy asked me "why the long face?" I said "I like a little guitar or ethereal sound in my music". He shouted to the DJ "hey put on some Cradle of Filth" for over here". Henceforth did said band play followed by Metallica.

I recently got to know a girl who I at first thought I was like minded with … macabre taste in everything like me, said she was a 'Goth', took me over herplace where she proceeded to play 'Rammstein' all night….
