Teen Gothic

So with their two most recent releases Rosetta Stone used AI for cover art. This is obviously lazy and leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but wouldn’t normally deter me from listening to the songs, especially since Rosetta Stone is one of my favorites. But here’s the thing: the more I listen to their cover of Children of the Grave or the new track Under the Weather the music itself sounds kind of off too. Obviously it’s digital drums and synths so it’s already “artificial sounding” but there’s something else. Am I just paranoid or could it be that they’re using AI for the music too? If there’s anyone with better senses for these things or some kind of insight what do you think?
