does anyone know the names of the songs played in the south park episodes featuring the goth and vamp kids? I know some of it is just silly stuff the creators made, but I know there are real songs too. Some of them sound really good bro. also posted to the south park subreddit

I swear this is like the goth equivalent of playing Zombie by The Cranberries at a Halloween party. Please don't.

Had someone insist online that I wasn't a real goth because my friends tend to be more "basic", but I dont see a problem with it! I'm nice to them, their nice to me. I don't see the need for any complications.

Also- another dilemma, im against the insult "basic". I find it incredibly misogynistic and rude. Go ahead and scream at me in the comments, I wont care enough to acknowledge it. The point is, this person yelled at me and called me a "poser" for this.

If the answer to either of these questions is "yes", ill leave the goth community, no questions asked. Not out of anger– it just doesn't fit me.

I (22F) LOVE watching 70s-80s horror movies. A common trope I've noticed in these older movies is that its always the punk kids bullying the "nerdy" kids. This never made sense to me bc in my personal experience, it was always those kids who were bullied. I cannot count the amount of times people picked on me and called me a "future school shooter". And besides that, Alt subcultures and fandom culture seem to pretty much go hand in hand as most of us alt kids were also the nerdy ones(and ofc we were bullied for that too lol). To any elder goths on here I have a question: Was it common for alt kids to be bullies in the older generations or is this just some bullshit the movies made up?
