I’ve struggled with substance abuse for the last 15 years and I’m a big fan of dancing at goth night. One problem is that I’m newly sober.

I’ve long associated clubbing with drugs and alcohol and am afraid of going to goth night sober and not enjoying dancing anymore.

Does anyone else go dance at goth nights completely sober? Is it enjoyable?

If anyone is staying in on Saturday night, but still wants some comradery, we'll be hosting an event through zoom and twitch. All are welcomed to join and have fun.

if anyone was wondering this was the december 13th 2022 london concert in wembley, i had standing tickets but i was pretty far back because i was kind of late haha! it was brilliant, i will admit the crowd wasn’t the best but i still had so much fun finally seeing the band i have loved for years!

I’m bringing back more Thursday night goth events once again in DC, every second week to be precise, at a legendary TWO FLOOR VENUE in DC, the almighty ULTRABAR. My co-resident DJ Rinesin will be spinning industrial and goth club favorites on the bottom floor, and I will be spinning more traditional goth, darkwave, etc. on the top floor.

This venue is 18+, so my baby bats who aren’t quite 21 will be welcome! $ 10 cover at the door, all gratuities will be included in the price of the drink.

I don't want to discourage them from coming, but I also want them to understand what the goth subculture is about. The community has substance and its own identity that has gotten very muddled. I just would like some advice for others who have started their own goth night in their area.
