Teen Gothic

Can you guys suggest me ethereal wave goth bands similar to claire voyant, lycia and dead can dance?

I also wanna know some goth bands with opera elements.

im just BARELY getting into goth, ive always been a big hardcore punk/screamo guy but ive been absolutely in love with Scarlets Remains and Catholic Spit recently and was wondering if anyone knew of any heavier or punkier deathrock? or just any recs for smaller bands to check out in general? THANKS!!!

Hey :] For context: I gave Gothic music a shot a long while and I must say with all my respect it simply isnt my thing. Maybe I listened to the wrong artists or maybe it just really isnt my thing. I felt the same way about HipHop til I discovered psychodelic HipHop, which made me fall in love with this genre. I have now decided to give Gothic music again a try and maybe follow the Same direction as with HipHop, since I seem to like athmospheric music.

And here I am asking if anybody has perhaps any recommendations for this similar feel in Gothic Music? :] Would appreciate any response

Any sub genre is fine, bonus points if they are still touring and modern! 🙂

I'm constantly on the hunt for bands/artists with a small fanbase or that are relatively unknown. This includes newer emerging artists or perhaps older goth/post punk bands that might still be active and releasing music/touring. Although a lot of new "goth" artists sound is closer to darkwave/coldwave or synth but that also works!

Hi, so I'm super into Christian Death's first album (can't get enough), and I was wondering if there is anything else that sounds like it, or if that album is just too unique.

I also really like Nosferatu's first album and Switchblade Symphony's first album, if there's anything like those, too.
