Teen Gothic

i’m visiting from outside the country and i’m planning on going to frown of thorns on the 9th this week. i’ll be going by myself and im really excited but i don’t want to feel lost. anyone have any tips? also is it worth wearing a coat? i don’t want to sweat to death in there but i also don’t want to freeze outside walking home. thanks in advance!

of course i understand that listening to music is a huge aspect of goth culture, and i do listen to goth music every now and then, such as tsom, bauhaus, etc. i also do know that you can enjoy other music while still being part of the goth culture. however, i don’t know what to call myself? i also like music from many other subcultures including visual kei, and metal, and some punk occasionally. clothing wise, i dress in (what my punk boyfriend) says is a casual punk style. i’m just having a hard time finding what to refer to myself as. any help is appreciated, thank you. 🖤
