I'm listening to tons of bands, and I'm looking to make a goth playlist, except I have no idea how to sort it out.. Any advices?

I’m new to gothic music

I recently met someone and she mentioned that she was into goth music and I wanted to know what bands/songs you think I should listen to. For reference some bands from other genres that I really like are: Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Rob Zombie, Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills, Whitechapel, and Fields of the Nephilim. I know these artists are wildly different from goth rock, but hopefully they could give some insight into what I may like. (I also have already started listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees, and really enjoy their sound)

update: first goth night success!

i got a LOT of advice on thursday when i posted about going to a goth night for the first time and asked for tips because of how nervous i was! a few dozen (!) of you folks gave me wonderful advice, and because of you i was able to conquer my anxiety and have a good time; i just got a juice, picked a place on the dance floor and vibed for hours. many of you assured me this would be the case, but i was blown away by how much people didn't care what anyone else was doing and how free the environment felt from the self-conscious performances of dancing I've seen in the non goth bars/clubs I've been to. i have never enjoyed dancing so much, especially while sober!

i also got to see Night Sins live, who i learned about recently on this subreddit, and they were incredible! i of course also snagged one of their t shirts.

thank you r/goth for helping me feel good about going out and trying something new because i know now that i want to do it again and again.

Around a year ago I posted my Rozz Williams P.E collection… here’s my collection now (I have more stuff here and there but this is the heart of my collection)
