Teen Gothic

Good day all. I have been struggling to find a way to break the goth scene. I've been posting snippets and people enjoy my music. But my page listeners and streams stay the same. I've only released one song which could be the problem but I've got a bunch more work on the way that I've teased. Any advice?

Without trying to fellate them too much, First and Last and Always was my goth gateway and I still feel like it's in my top 5 of all time of any genre of music. Marian alone kinda left the rest of the goth rock genre falling short of what I'm looking to find in it. The atmosphere of this album is so damn good. It's just the right amount of gloom and catchiness.

All this being said, why is it that every time I find a SOM clone it feels so shallow or they just poorly imitate Eldritch? Even though I've found an appreciation for them, I remember finding Merciful Nuns a few years ago and being severally disappointed just because I went in expecting FaLaA.

Have y'all ever found a clone that was worth checking out? Maybe my head is too far up this band's ass that my expectations cannot be met
