So I'm Tryna get into the goth scene cause I've heard of some really good goth songs but im not really sure if some artists I wanna check out are actually goth so I'd like some feedback if you can!

Hello everyone, not sure if this is a good place to ask so mods if you decide this post isnt something to be discussed here, you may delete, but Im a bit curious to know your guys thoughts on the current situation of of course a lot of people specifically more guys beings “into” goth women. Of course there’s a VERY thin line between genuine attraction vs fetishization and I’m curious to know where is that line for you personally? Goth guys can also answer this because I’m pretty sure back when twilight was a thing y’all were unfortunately being sexualized for your darker aesthetic as well so everyone feel free to answer this question.

(For those of you that are curious I’m a Horror punk? Not sure if that’s the correct term but it is the music genre I listen to the most and love, I don’t really dress the part but at my heart/core that’s what I love)

Genuine Question – Cemeteries

Hi all, I’m getting back to my goth roots, and am a baby bat. I wanted to ask the community, what your thoughts are on cemetery walks/photo shoots?

I found a beautiful picture of an influencer on Instagram, that sparked this question. As you can see, it looks like she’s laying on top of the grave? Am I wrong for thinking that’s disrespectful – beautiful makeup & aesthetics aside. I genuinely am not trying to bash this person. Please let me know if I am violating rule #5. If I am I’m sorry.

I’m not great at socializing due to anxiety, but I want to be more active in the goth scene despite it not being very large where I am. Does anybody have recommendations on how to make friends in the scene for somebody that struggles in social settings?
