Teen Gothic

I’m moving to Boston in a month and would love to find some goth/metal places. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was just wondering if there’s any specific clubs in Toronto that are goth or any place where goths hangout? I’ve been trying to get into the scene more and make new friends

i’m studying in chicago and really miss the goth scene from my hometown but i have no clue where i might be able to find goth nightclubs/events.

i did hear about neo but all i can find about it is that it has been shut down for some time now, which breaks my heart. if theres anything similar to that i’d love to know. anything with industrial/new wave/dark d&b music where people dress alternatively is perfect. 🙂

i’d also prefer for it to be ages 18+ and not 21+ because im not 21 yet.

Staying in Frankfurt for a few months for work. Does anyone know of any cool bars or clubs that are goth/punk/alternative? Thanks!

Where are all of you hanging out these days?

I've heard NY but I live here and haven't found anything goth… Maybe I live under a rock lol

I've been looking around for some time for any goth nights/ events in my city… there are a fair few in nearby cities (Toronto for example) but that is unfortunately too far for me to be able to attend anything so I'm just wondering if there is a goth scene in Sudbury or if anyone can put me on the right path to find events fairly locally

When I was in puberty, I always dreamed of going out and meeting people with this style in my country. As I got older and was close to entering the scene, I received warnings about the level of toxicity among groups of friends. I thought they were just exaggerations. But the truth is that I have come to realize it. Pure gossip and fighting. Toxicity over the question of whether you are a "real goth" or not and even racism. There are groups of people in their 40's and 50's and I'm also with groups of 17-20 year olds (as you know sometimes it doesn't end well).

I will likely be relocating to the UK from Portland, Oregon sometime next year. The goth scene here is great and has become a pretty big part of my life. There is at least one dedicated goth/EBM/industrial club and many other venues have dedicated nights, not to mention tons of shows across the city. It's also a great feeling to walk into a generic cafe, bar, or shop, hear goth tunes playing and strike up a great conversation with the worker who put it on (this city is FULL of goths).

I was back visiting the UK recently (Edinburgh and Glasgow), and was shocked by the lack of "alternative" looking folks, let alone goths. Are there any British cities with an active goth scene? If there are, which cities have the strongest goth presence? I really enjoy the fact that so many folks here share in the subculture and the ease of access to it in Portland and would love to find something similar.

I've never heard any band from South Corea, but I guess there might be some. Any one knows?
