Recommendations on this Sub & Spotify
Hello my usual 'look' is casual goth or casual black. Because it's been noted by others I look goth, I curiously researched goth on the internet & found out it's a music based subculture, so decided to delve further (even though I stopped listening to hard rock & pop music a long time ago because it all bored me to the point of irritation, so I just got rid of it) .Through Spotify YouTube & this Sub I have come across recommendations however that I like so much that I'm now listening to early recordings (first half of the 80's) of Sisters of Mercy every day. Can't get enough. Same with early Siouxsie & The Banshees but also more recent recordings by Ritual Howls (whose sound is very haunting).
However I feel disappointed when I click on links or look up recommendations that lead me to sounds of synth pop – for instance Black Marble; The Soft Moon, or sounds of what I consider 'new wave' – Asylum Party, and a lot of The Cure. There's even been metal or grunge type music listed – TypeO Negative, a lot of punk like The Birthday Party
Does synth pop, new wave, metal come into the goth scene in a big way, and if so what is the connection.
I hate all of that & don't get why those kinds of sounds are on goth playlists alongside music I do consider to sound gothic & enjoyable…early Sisters of Mercy, Altar deFey, 34 Vampires, Bauhaus' Bela Lagusi.

Rozz Williams Sleeping Dogs album is not available on Spotify
i was just scrolling through my playlists and noticed that the album is not available. the other two albums "Accept the Gift of Sin" and "Live in Berlin" are still playable on Spotify but Sleeping Dogs is missing. i checked youtube and couldn't find some of the songs. does anyone knows why? or Spotify only removed it because of where i live? i'm a big fan of Rozz Williams and i love his music! i would love to stream it on anywhere.

Anyone have a favorite Spotify playlist that they particularly enjoy? Doesn’t have to be one of your own, but something you really enjoy.

The Virgin Prunes on Spotify
Does anyone know what happened to their songs? I just noticed that almost all of them have disappeared. They had 'The Moon Looked Down and Laughed' up a while back but I'm not sure what's going on now.

Can’t stop giggling at my Spotify wrapped
95% of it was exactly what you’d expect from someone who follows this subreddit. The outlier was just my strange love (no pun intended) of Doja Cat. A guilty pleasure, but still one that I can at least admit to. Amidst a sea of Post Punk, industrial, dark wave, etc there she was.
Anyone have a similar experience? I’d love to hear I’m not the only one with a random wild card in their music taste

Released a new song on Spotify!!
Hey!! Just released another song on Spotify! This one is called "neue welle" which translates to "new wave". It has gained alot of inspiration from the old school Goth and New Wave acts. I hope you like it :Dd
