Teen Gothic

I know the song is mocking the KKK and their beliefs. But is the song telling a story? Either it's obvious and I'm just dense or I'm reading too much into it. Besides the underlying message I always felt it's sort of a tragic love song. You know with the "Romeo's Distress" "after dark hand for a kiss" "your days are numbered with the love in your eyes". I don't know but I love the song and whenever I listen to it, I go through many emotions.

My introduction, the band that made me fall in love with this music was Lebanon hanover when I was 19. I’m 21 now And didn’t start getting into “goth“ culture until I found Lebanon Hanover but since then I’ve became a big fan of bands like: the cure, joy division, black marble, motorama, siouxie, the sound, chameleons, molchat doma, she past away, human Tetris, bauhaus, Christian death….etc

Hey guys so, unfortunately I’m the only person I know who is interested in goth music and subculture. I’ve always wanted to go to a goth club and always thought that I needed to go to NYC to go to one but i just realized that a few minutes away from me there’s a nightclub that does goth nights every month. I’d love to go but I don’t know how I (f25) feel going alone. I’m thinking of going to one but I’m hesitant. Thoughts?

Also, are there any ways or recommendations to find friend that share these same interésts

Not that I want to make friends to go to goth clubs lol but it made me realize, while I love my current friends, there aren’t any people in my life that I can share this part of me.
