Teen Gothic

Saw an ad for vocal coaching in my feed earlier and it got me wondering what goth vocalists would be considered as having / demonstrating the most skill and / or uniqueness in their craft. I'm worse than a beginner when it comes to anything related to the technical side of music though; I have no idea what is or isn't impressive vocally, so I thought I'd ask:

Who do you think is a particularly stand-out goth vocalist? Do some artists have a more uniquely goth vocal style than others? Are some artists doing things with their voice that are particularly difficult? Or are goth vocals more on the simpler side of things? Curious to know.

I try to come up with something interesting and creative in the description posts for Unofficial Seething Sunday but sometimes I draw blank. Today is a blank day. Been sleeping a lot and brain function isn't far off auto-pilot right now. I guess I really needed the rest today.

I get “Tim burton” a lot. One guy at the dispo said I looked like I walked out of a Sex Pistols concert. Me and my girlfriend also got called “Dracula” on our way to get soda one time 😆
