Teen Gothic

Most of what I’ve seen for music is (presumably straight) white men fronting a lot of popular goth bands which is fine but as a queer and trans woman I want to know if there’s any women/lgbtq led bands that people can recommend me.

What are y’alls recommendations for good beginner bands to get into more goth music. I’ve been debating whether of not to get more into goth music and fashion for a while but I wanna finally just dive into it but I’m not sure where to start truly getting into it.

Hey everyone! I’m a big fan of goth, but it’s mostly from the classics and darkwave(especially darkwave actually). I’m primarily a synth player and I was recently asked if I wanted to join a deathrock band, and I was wondering if y’all could give me some recommendations of your favorite deathrock bands that feature synths for some inspiration. Extra points if they use modular synths!
