Teen Gothic

Before i became involved in the alternative community, I shopped at brands like hot topic and amazon for clothes. Since joining the community, I realize the error in buying fast fashion, especially from such places. I don't want to throw away my old clothes, even if they are fast fashion, but they simply don't look good in an outfit. They have that cheap, sanitized tacky look that all "alt" brand clothes have. I've already used a few t-shirts for fabric in DIY projects, but I would like to keep wearing some because I don't own many clothes. Any ideas on how to make them look better?​
