What’s London After Midnight like in concert?

i really want to see Sean/LAM live at one point, this year if possible, and I was wondering if anyone had any stories/advice about this particular band.

eg how early people usually get there, if there’s a possibility to say hello to them after the show etc.

Concert or festival is fine, I’d probably see them at WGT in Leipzig.

What I was able to get at the Twin Tribes concert in Chile

A duo I've followed for a while, on a special night, with a bit of luck and the relief of being featured in one of their Instagram posts.

I had a chance to speak with Joel as they were saying goodbye, managing to catch his attention to mention, of course, that it was my birthday. Adding to the excitement was the fact that it was the first concert of this kind I'd ever been to (I can't afford to see my favorite artists, but seeing them perform in Chile, at a price I could actually afford, was rewarding). He then spoke to me directly and wished me a happy birthday. I was freaking out. I accidentally stepped on my phone because it was covered by a flag I'd brought and left on stage, taking advantage of being right up front. But I doubt anyone else cared about it, considering one of their favorite artists said something to their faces after they'd tried to get his attention.

I got the black guitar pick amidst a scramble for Joel's, while the pink one, which belongs to Luis, I couldn't get directly from him since he was throwing them around (he's clearly more reserved on stage). Instead, I got it thanks to one of the guys who works with them. He asked me, along with my dad (who was with me and managed to get his attention before the concert to tell him about the situation), if it was really my birthday before we left, and gave it to me as a gift. I was on the verge of tears. Oh my God, I was so paranoid going out; I thought my eyes were going to fall off at any moment.

But that's it. I wanted to share my experience, as it's a really nice memory that only increased my affection for these guys, whose music helped me escape some pretty tense situations. I also apologize if there are any mistakes in the text; English isn't my first language, so I'm relying solely on a translator.

Have a good night.

should I give out bracelets at the sisters of mercy concert

I was wondering if this would go over well? I did this at another concert and it went great but the band was very different than The Sisters Of Mercy. I've never seen them before so I don't know the vibe of the concert. I can't imagine anything terrible happening but I wouldn't want to be seen as annoying or anything like that.

Sisters of Mercy Concert Questions

So Sisters of Mercy is coming to my area for a concert and I'm a fan of their music. I guess I have a few curiousity/worry questions about the whole thing by biggest being: Is it worth it? I'm 17 and my mom would be taking me. It's in St. Augustine, Florida. If I do go, I plan to get pit tickets so because of that, my other questions are:
– Is the crowd nice?
– How is the pit? Is it aggressive?
If its not obvious, I'm a baby bat and I've never been to a goth concert before but I have been to a rock concert and have been in a mosh pit so I can handle myself well I think, I guess I'm just nervous and want to have the most fun I can and not feel as if its a waste.

Thank you for your help!! 🙂

What’s the worst/most disappointing concert you’ve been to?

For me it was Sisters of Mercy somewhat recently. I really love their music but the quality and everything was a real let down. Seemed like they were stuck in a contract and just tried to finish the concerts so it'd end

Concert Outfit

These pics are from when I attended a Hex Cassette concert with my friend back in February. I don't get the opportunity to dress up this much very often so I thought I'd share! The Fear Cult top is handpainted by me 🙂

My Friend is Inviting me to a Twin Tribes Concert.

I don't usually listen to this type of music nor would I consider myself to be a part of the goth subculture but I have really enjoyed Bauhaus – Bella Lugosi's dead and the Cure – A Forest was one of my favorite songs at one point.

I'm seeing them in Houston next week. What to expect? I really love improvisation in music though it isn't everything.

I saw She Past away (my first concert ever) last night and had a blast!

The ticket price wasn't bad. It was $ 25. There was a cover band called Ghost Fetish, which I had never heard of, but are apparently a new band from Seattle. I was blown away by the entire experience. I can't accurately describe what I was feeling in words but the music really deeply stirred me.

I am glad I decided against wearing one of my Gothic lolita dresses. I went with a pair of New Rocks, which allowed me to see (since I am very short). She Past Away is one of my favorite bands so I was glad I could catch them here in the states especially. The venue was great, not too big or intimidating.

I can't dance but I was doing that side to side dancing in place dance and apparently so was nearly everyone else there. I think they said they would be back since the turnout was pretty good.

I am trying to get more involved in the local music scene (and probably along the west coast). I've been googling for similar upcoming events. Not sure where to start since I guess I'm new to the music scene.
