Teen Gothic

I hope this post is allowed (I read the rules/FAQ again to make sure). If not… Oops!

Finally, an ALL AGES goth rock event in Denver, CO! WitchHands (who have opened for bands like Nox Novacula and She Past Away) and Circumversor (members of WitchHands) will be filming for music videos at this show. Fun bands making great music. Roxy on Broadway, 9PM. $ 12.

There's also a really cool alternative market happening from 12-5pm that day just down Broadway at Grandma's House. They'll be selling goth magazines, jewelry, art, clothing, etc. It's called Gram Reaper and is hosted by Horrid Spirits (the flyer with more info is on their Instagram).

Unfortunately, I was not allowed to bring my good camera into this event as it was a Live Nation sponsored show, so I made do with what was allowed in and am pleased with the results. However, that camera thing looks like it might change for me at future goth rock shows thanks to friends who ran this one. I'll post a video montage of this show (and a bunch of past shows) eventually. The Sisters of Mercy played a bunch of unreleased songs which was amazing to hear. Who else saw them on tour?

I filmed this yesterday and really like how this single clip turned out, especially because it's one of their lesser known songs (and it's amazing), so I thought I'd share. I'll post photos and a full video edit of this show soon. Who else saw them on their tour and where?

Hey y’all! I’ll be visiting my partner in Denver between Sept.-October, and I wanna mingle with the local scene. I’d love recommendations for places that are 18+ rather than 21+ (I’m 19, he’s 20). Everything Google pulls up is either 21+ or not goth (seriously, I got pop show recommendations). So I came here for help. Would love any advice or recommendations from Denver peeps!

This question has been asked before but I'm finding it hard to get any clear information. I'm planning on moving to Denver in 3 months and am wondering how active the goth scene is there, not just with shows but also with the clubs. About how often would you all say the city has goth nights/dance nights at the various clubs? The two Facebook groups I found seem to not post all the events.

Currently in my city there's dance nights about 3 times a month + about 2 shows a month all at just one club so I'm imagining it's at least more than that lol.

Hello, goths of Reddit, my friends and I are planning a night out and we were looking to go to any goth bars or clubs anyone here knows any good Goth places in Aurora or Colorado?

Since moving to Denver a few years ago I've been wanting to get into the scene and meet like-minded individuals. Well, covid happened around that time and I just couldn't get out to do that, so I have no idea where the scenes are. I was hoping some people would know all the cool hangout spots and scenes for me to explore and meet new people. I'm not a drinker, so bars and clubs aren't super my thing. I know that's a huge facet of goth culture, but I was hoping other places like flea markets and the like would be a good option too. I'd really like to get back in touch with my fellow alternatives, but I just don't know where to start, paired with having a touch of the social anxiety and the lacking of self confidence, so I don't like going out and doing things by myself usually. I'm trying to get over that, so any places of interest would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Sadly due to Peter Murphy's throat ailments the show was cancelled tonight. (Per parking lot guy). Hope he gets well, they are going to AZ in two days then starting on the European tour. Kinda a bummer
