What is the most “gothic” song you have ever heard ?

So im new to gothic music i'm baby bat or whatever you call it lol but i already can see the diffrent in gothic rock songs some more upbeat some more dark in their sound.

Honestly i never thought this is how gothic music is gonna sound i thought it will be more dark in the lyrics and more heavy but i like it anyway and i like to discover.

Has anyone heard of this band before?

Was scrolling through YouTube and came across this band from the French goth scene in the eighties. They were called "Neva", with their songs falling into the death rock and electronic sound. Does anyone know anything about this bands members/history? Or their relation the the eighties scene? Below is the clip I found: https://youtu.be/Ug-4jRqt8jA

Trying to hunt down a song I heard at goth night

This has been bothering me like hell. I haven't found anything by personally googling and digging (that, and a huge chunk of goth bands don't seem to have lyrics up at all online – this seems to be one of those cases), so I figured this would be the best place to ask.

The only lyrics I managed to memorize are something like "Sorrow / Where the light shines for you / There's no tomorrow / You will sing me a(new? bruise?)". I'm almost certain it was second wave goth & something I've heard on the Nightbreed online radio before. It sounded very similar to Malaise, but I don't think it's actually them.

That said, I was plastered and have an auditory processing disorder. There's a very decent chance I'm missing something of note/getting things slightly wrong. If someone, by any chance, somehow recognizes this song, thank you so much in advance!

Burn by The Cure (1994). I owned the soundtrack for The Crow as a child, and this was the first goth song I ever heard. Changed my life and perspective on music forever.
