Teen Gothic

As I’m reading about them, I can’t help but wonder if they were a Batcave band or not.

Just looking for some song recommendations since I LOVE Halloween and I would like to have more songs to play during this season.

I play a Fender Telecaster made in Mexico.

Fender Mexico is my favorite.

I also love Gibsons ES 335s and Les Paul’s

Gibson really got their stuff together this last five years. I lot of us were worried they wouldn’t even exist. All through the 2010s they put out nothing but garbage and the company almost went under.

In my opinion the best guitar ever made is the Fender Telecaster. It’s just a flawless design and specifically for goth music, it can get those super clean and clear chimey tones that you hear on Drab Majesty and Cocteau Twins songs.

What are your favs and why?

Hi everyone, sorry if this is a dumb question.

An acquaintance of mine is a "DJ" for an online radio station that caters mainly to "oldies" rock music from the 50s – 70s or so. It made me wonder if there is such a thing for goth music, or, maybe more broadly, alternative music that would/could include goth music.

I am aware of Spotify playlists and etc. but I am looking more for an online radio station format with DJs that play sets at specific times.

Not sure how to explain this better. By end of the world, I mean songs with a strong mix of emotions – despair, nostalgia, hope, watching something explode from afar and an inability to intervene. A tune that would play as the final credits start rolling by.

Think Plainsong by The Cure or Sea Swallow Me by Cocteau Twins but maybe with more edge?

As the title says, what are your favourite goth or goth adjacent songs to play on bass?

I'm a somewhat beginner bass player (I've only been playing for 2 years) and wanted to learn some new songs to expand my repertoire.
