Most goth music is in a minor key. Makes sense, right.

Can you think of any songs that are in a major key? Which embody the genre well?

Curious ~ I can’t think of many off the top of my head.

Recently getting into goth music through a suggested play list I found. A lot of it is somber dance music and I like it but I want something for a chiller mood as well. Something that makes me feel like I’m staring out the window on a rainy day. Similar to the sound of the song I linked

Something like the cure, I find myself gravitating to songs with a bit more of a cadence and a beat, I love the cure and Depeche Mode but I don’t know a lot of bands that make higher energy music like that while maintaining the gothic nature.

Traitrs is my favorite goth band and one of my favorite bands of all time, so I’m fairly proud of my little collection I have of their work. So excited to see them again this October.
