My Gothic Rock band’s debut
After browsing the sub, I thought it would be appropriate (given that it's Saturday) to share my band "Miss Teen America" and our debut single "Take Me Back"

A bit about us- I (TJ, vocals, lyrics) formed this band with a friend of mine (Vic, bass) early this year, pasting up these flyers around NYC. After relentless efforts and constant flyering, we lucked out and found two amazing guitarists (Alex and Marcus) and a fantastic drummer (Tom). Our debut single touches on themes of bloodlust, divine love, religious trauma, and manhood.
Let us know your thoughts
Thank you bats
xoxo Miss Teen America

Thoughts on “The Last Days Of Jesus”?
Wow. Such an underappreciated band. They mix deathrock and batcave goth music with aspects of horror punk and dark cabaret. and they're GOTH CLOWNS!!!!! Please, give them a listen, they're a criminally underrated bunch of people.

Toys Went Berserk (Aus)- Stairway to Heaven (1989/90?)
In the late 80s into the 90s one direction goth evolved in was towards bands like Concrete Blonde and The Cranes. Toys Went Berserk were an Australian goth band around that time, very influenced by Siouxsie and the Banshees, their name taken from the lyrics of The Banshees song “spellbound”. This song here is a cover of the Led Zeppelin song, recorded specially for an Australian TV show where the guest band of the week would cover that song.
