How do I tell idiots at my school the difference between emo and goth?

There’s a goth girl in my environmental science class and these few guys keep referring to her as an emo girl, I just cringe but ofc I’m not gonna speak on her behalf but it just mildly annoys me for no reason lol

Right now, submissions are open to send in your band’s song for consideration to enter into the compilation! If selected you will be sent a short contract to agree to for publishing terms which comes with individual promotion and spotlights from OU! On that same note, In order to address the costs of our Bandcamp upkeep the compilation will cost a small nominal fee to download this year. For this we are putting in the extra work for the bands.

What are your favorite goth songs for when you’re feeling down?

It doesn't need to be uplifting. But maybe just really catchy, or soothing, or sad in a way that you commiserate with. Mood-congruent is fine. What entertains you, or validates you, or is just really entertaining and pleasurable to listen to?

Bonus points if the song(s) you recommend are more recent, released after 2010 or so. I've semi-recently returned to goth after a LONG absence, so newer music is particularly welcome.

But old school is fine too!

Thank you so much! 🖤
