Nihilistic/Angry goth/cold wave

I'm looking for bands that evoke anti human lyrics or right about wanting to die, nothing romantic or flowery in terms of music or lyrics. Anything that sounds like Qual or Bestial Mouths is cool but I'm also interested in death rock or guitar driven goth that has similar lyrical motifs. Thank you for any and all recommendations

Antonin Artaud

This is very specific, but – did anyone else get into Antonin Artaud because of Bauhaus? That's always been one of my top favorite Bauhaus songs, and in high school I got curious about who this Artaud guy was anyway, so I found a copy of The Theater and its Double and fell in love and read everything of his I could get my hands on. His sense of an excruciatingly intense world was exactly in line with where I was at (and one of those things I had a light bulb "always has been" moment about after getting diagnosed with autism in middle age – well of course everything feels like barbed wire!). Anyway, thank you Bauhaus for pointing me toward a writer I never would have heard of otherwise back then (pre internet normie suburban wasteland).

What do you think the meaning of She’s in Parties by Bauhaus is?

This is probably one of my favorite songs of all time. What’s your interpretation of it, though? Mine has been about a beautiful woman who lives for the glitz and glam, she enjoys the finer things in life. But, “ in the can”, so she must be rotting herself away. Living thin fast life and doing what needs to be done to please others, while deteriorating.

What do you think? Curious to hear others thoughts.
