Trying to be goth in my life is difficult right now
When it comes to music, the authoritarian people can tolerate it, even with the weird imagery and stuff, they give me a pass.
But when it comes to dressing and fashion. I am having a difficult time.
I remember I showed a picture of a guy with black lips and told that person "I want to express myself in a physical way and I want to become Gothic"
You Know what that person said? "What the fuck is this? This is truly horrifying. You are trying to be like that? You got the demon in you. You disgust me. Are you trying to be a faggot?"
Sometimes I wonder "why bother sharing if I am going to get shunned upon by those bitches"
But yeah. I have a hard time. I really want to delve myself into the goth style but right now, I can't do nothing. 🙁

Bands like Sisters of mercy ?
I'm pretty new to goth music and the only band that like more than 5 of their songs is Sisters of mercy.

I feel like 45 grave is such a specific flavor of death rock and I can’t find anything else that hits quite the same, can anyone recommend anything?
I like plenty of new school bands and old school deathrock but there's a kind of unique fun energy to 45 Grave that I can't really seem to find anywhere else, I think Super Heroines are maybe the closest thing I can think of. Can anyone recommend anything with similar vibes?

petition to ban the word tiktok from this sub
i come on this sub to find music recs, hear about people's concert experiences, and see cool diys. but lately i swear every post i click on mentions tiktok, which is the exact topic i'm trying to avoid when i come onto reddit because i already hear so much about it on instagram. we get it now, people on tiktok have no idea what they're talking about. can we please just all collectively agree to stop posting these annoying questions trying to clarify whether information you found on the clock app is correct when you already know the answer? thanks.
