Deathrock/goth synth players?

Hey everyone! I’m a big fan of goth, but it’s mostly from the classics and darkwave(especially darkwave actually). I’m primarily a synth player and I was recently asked if I wanted to join a deathrock band, and I was wondering if y’all could give me some recommendations of your favorite deathrock bands that feature synths for some inspiration. Extra points if they use modular synths!

Thanks everyone!!!

Brother/Sister Wedding dance

Hi! I'm getting married in October. I'm planning on doing the father/daughter dance with my brother as neither of us had our father growing up.

Would anyone have any recommendations for songs? I'm having a hard time coming up with any.

Thank you!

dealing with harassment

so im in a small town from an eastern european country and i get a lot of harassment, espacially at school. i usually dont dress like hardcore goth or smth, i never did trad goth make up, i do not wear revealing stuff or things associated with kinks, most of the time im just casual goth/alt. there is a group of guys that wont stop yelling at me and harrasing me, both in school and outside (they re from my highschool) and they re planning to spit on me or smth (someone told me they heard them talking) and im really afraid of getting jumped or beaten.

do you have any advice? im not planning on changing my style bc that would mean new clothes and i dont have the money first of all, and also its not really sustainable since i would not use them after graduating. i also like dressing how i want and i dont want to change since i really worked for the clothes i have now and i always wanted to dress how i dress now. i was thinking of telling the principal or a teacher but im afraid they would tell me that im asking for it and i should dress more "normal" + these people dont really care for this stuff so im risking to just make myself embarassed

Making friends

Hey everyone, kind of an odd question. If you (or a goth in general) were in a bookstore and saw someone reading something you find interesting (true crime, occult stuff, etc) would you be likely to start a chat with that person? I’m asking because I’ve found that my local bookstore hosts a bunch of goth/alt customers and I wanna make some friends hanging out there. Thanks for reading 🙂
