Teen Gothic

after digging further there are other tracks (“Party Monster” for one) that I found that are synth/darkwave-y although I’m not sure if they’re original compositions or samples taken from goth tracks. His music tends to use a lot of minor chords and progressions which is why i’m getting goth vibes from his music. I just thought I’d post this bc i’m genuinely amazed at how he’s fused his music with moody minor chords, and the idea that he (probably) listens to goth music during his free time is quite cool.

I would just like to complain about how in the media goth girls are always oversexualized for no reason and it is annoying.

Why would they oversexualize goth girls for the non goth males gaze?

I hope this doesn't get taken down due to the mentioning of race :[ but i'm a romantic goth and have identified as such for about a year, but i now have the means to buy more accessories.

I want to preserve my culture (i.e. still wear hoops but integrate it into the romantic goth style) but I'd also want to achieve the romantic goth look as well.

^{^} side note: i do actively listen to the music, but this post is primarily about style. im being super precautious as i haven't posted on this subreddit before and i dont want to unintentionally violate any rules.
