Teen Gothic

Hi everyone, my name is Angelo and I am looking for members to start a darkwave band inspired by Cocteau Twins, She Past Away, Twin Tribes, Bauhaus.

I am looking for anyone who plays guitar, bass or keys, at any skill level.

This is what I observed from a year of going to goth clubs in the capital of germany. The age average is 40 mainly. I am in my 20s and I rarely see young people. I guess it makes sense bc people in their 40s and over were teenagers when the goth subculture was at its peak. These days not so much. Or maybe the young goths dont go to clubs and participate in the online scene instead?

Basically what the title says, I'm moving to Washington state and I was looking for any concerts/venues/etc. in the Tacoma/Seattle areas to keep track of when I head over there. Bonus points if they're openly LGBT friendly!

I think I’ve seen a grand total one one seemingly goth dressed person that I can’t even confirm is goth my whole time being at my college. I really want goth friends and to be connected to the goth scene but I have no clue how to find them in my area. How did y’all get connected? Also I’m not 21 yet so I have no access to clubs or anything.

For context, I'm interested in setting up casual meetups within our scene in the near future. I love our club nights but sometimes I feel I'd prefer some wine and good conversation. I heard that my city used to have more casual gatherings back in the day (I'm in Boston), but those seem to have died out looong ago.

Do any of you host casual events out where you live? How do you go about doing that?
