Would I be fine alone at a goth show as a 14 year old?

I don’t have anyone to go with and my mom gets paranoid about safety (which is understandable) but I personally feel like i’d be fine. I don’t have much experience though so i’m not sure.

Thanks for the warm reception to my last “how 2 draw” post. Here’s Andrew Eldritch and Nik Fiend.

Songs for the loss of a loved one?

My best friend took her life in september and I wanted to ask if anyone maybe has some song suggestions for me?

I currently listen to a lot of "Change" by deftones and "There's a Light that Never goes out" by the Smiths 🙂

Looking for modern (2010s and beyond) gothic rock and/or deathrock bands to check out and support.

As the title says, I wanna find more modern bands in the gothic rock (ala, Sisters of Mercy, Mission, or Nephilim sounding bands) or deathrock catagory that formed recently. I realize my tastes are stuck in the more classic bands and I want to expand my tastes to include modern acts. I also just want to support bands that are currently still making music.

Please no post-punk or -wave (not bad genres, but they're not what I'm looking for). Also the bands have to be formed in 2010 and beyond.

Rozz Williams & Joy Division

I’ve read serval comments & discussions online that claim Rozz had Joy Divisions Closer in his CD player when he committed suicide. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this or know whether this is true or not.
