Hello! I'm quite new to the goth community. I've been listening to some bands like London After Midnight, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Depeche Mode.

I wanted to ask if the following bands could be considered goth:

• Sidewalks and Skeletons • Ludovico Technique • Night Club

All of them seem to have darkwave as one of their genres (going by google) but I'm not quite sure.

hey! im 17 years old and still in highschool. I'm currently facing a lot like a LOT of ridicule (for lack of better term) for my appearance at school. I just moved to a very backwards town from a bigger more progressive city and am not finding it easy lol. I know it isnt new at all, and im usually pretty good at dealing with it however its starting to kind of bug me. Any tips from elder-goths on how to better handle this ? (id greatly appreciate it)

i have always loved goth music and I've always been borderline goth in my fashion but never dove too far inn. picture more general alt style. I've been stepping up my fashion game but am having trouble with makeup. I DONT want to change my skin color. I am latina and you may or may not know that in Latin America there is a huge problem with colorism and it just feel wrong (and kind triggering to me) to lighten my skin. does anyone know any influences or have any other fashion and specifically makeup resources that don't alter their skin tone?

I have just turned 18 in my country peru legally I can enter bars and gothic events but as it is an informal country the truth is that you can enter being a minor inlcusive, this year I have already met people from the scene. But I know that in the United States you can't go to a bar until you are 21 years old which leaves me with the intrigue. How young people can make gothic friends being unable to attend these events? I am wondering this because I will be in Delaware soon.

are there any baby-bat-friendly activities in the DFW area? I'd really like to go to a concert or music venue, but I'm currently under 18(so no bars/clubs) and I don't trust google.
