Custom jacket!

Here is my hand painted leather jacket! I went with a bunch of smaller images on the front to incorporate a lot of meaningful details. The jacket is meant to have a lot of nods to Sandman- the ankhs, swirly eye, the quote from Death and on the back is Neil Gaiman’s signature! Everything is freehanded by me including siouxsie’s logo. I’ll be adding buttons and painting the sleeves soon!

Unofficial Seething Sunday

Saw Barbie and liked it? Great! Offended by it? Get outta here. You call yourself a goth and NOT like it?!? But all the pink! Goths love pink, just ask the Hello Kitty Goths! And if you are a man if pink is good enough for WWF wrestling's Bret "The Hitman" Hart it should be good enough for you!

But wait… the real reason is being a right wing patriarch who feels threatened by a movie about dolls. Wow. Sucks to be you!

Each downvote is a vote for Douchebro Ken and his crappy world. Yuck!

Goth/darkwave vinyl section at Wax Trax in Denver, CO

Here is one of the many goth/darkwave record store sections in Denver. This one is at Wax Trax in their new vinyl and CD building. Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Birthday Party were in the regular rock sections and there's an industrial spot next to this one. I picked up two Birthday Party and one Lebanon Hanover records.

When did fashion come before the music in goth culture?

OK I won't lie, I had no idea this was a music based culture till 2 months ago, but now that I'm listening to the music, now I'm noticing when I dress up (even in highschool) people would call me goth, what if I dressed like this and never listened to the music like I did in high-school, would that be an insult to the goth culture, do u think there should be an education system of goth culture vs stereotyping cuse u wear all black and spiked collars?
