Teen Gothic

Hi! I appreciate the comments from my last post on what songs I should add. I added some songs from there. This time, I am hopefully looking for more inputs on who/what to add. I still have a lot more exploring to do!!

And as a reminder, I also have some of my other playlists that have other goth music too 🙂 if you want to check that out as well.

Recently getting more into the music and culture but have had difficulty finding a lot of it on my own. Underground/underrated/new music recommendations?

I work at an walk in barbershop, and we have an established clientbase which includes lots of students. Today i read from an anonymous forum type thing in my country discussing about barbershps in the area, and some people were referring to me in a very mean way and commenting about my style. They said stuff like luckily someone else did their service beside me. I'm a young woman and fresh to the industry, and most of the clients are a few years older men. I always treat my clients politely and always do my best, so i found this very discouraging and this made me very sad as i had thought my workplace was a safe space. I just mainly wanted to vent and maybe get some thoughts on this.

Next step: patches once I decide on a theme

I love the intensity of songs like in the flat field, dark entries, and even fun (but intense) songs like st vitus dance. Are there any other bands that share this vibe? Is there a sub genre that gives that more intense vibe? I tend to lean more towards that rather than bands like the cure. There was a post similar to this a while ago but it specified for modern bands. I am hoping for some older bands, 80s & 90s. Please give suggestions.

Goth isn't White, it's for anyone who wants to engage with it.

So I myself am a huge metalhead but I have recently also been taking an interest in gothic music but I don’t really know what bands to listen to so I decided to come here for recommendations and I’m not one of the ones that thinks deftones is goth. I listen to the cure, joy division and the bauhaus I kinda wanna find some inspired by metal but either way goth music is goth music so give me your best bands

Any goth bands of the post punk or deathrock variety with a more classic sci Fi horror vibe or themes? I know that's typically the territory of horror punk and 90's "Ramonescore" but I think the atmospheric , effects heavy nature of goth, would blend really well with sci Fi stuff. I'm doing this myself but I was curious as to if it's been done before or in various instances. I'll also accept industrial examples. Although I'm quite a picky eater when it comes to that genre.
