Music recommendations similar to TR/ST?

Hellooooo I recently found this group TR/ST that I am absolutely obsessed with. It’s all I can listen to. Does anyone know them and have recommendations to anything with a similar sound? Thanks 🖤

More bands similar to Molchat Doma?

Obsessed with all of their music/sound. Most similar and only band I feel that hits the same spot as them is Dead Can Dance so far.
Suggestions? Recs? I'm open!
(also generally trying to get into goth culture and music is probably the best way for me to do that)

A lot of Modern Goth bands sound all similar

This is not a complaint, I just wanted to post this to see if someone else also thinks the same. I feel like a lot of modern Goth Rock/Post-Punk/Darkwave bands sound the same. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the new bands, but there are a lot that replicate a sound and don't have their own personality in their music. A lot of the new bands just use reverb and delay in their guitar, play a bass line inspired by Peter Hook and the singer sings with a deep and emotionless voice. They all try to sound like Joy Division or Molchat Doma, but never actually sound as good as them and it just ends up sounding a bit repetitive. Because of this I almost always find myself looking for underground records of the 80s, because I feel the music was more varied and had more emotion or more creativity. Again, just want to make clear, that I don't think ALL of the modern bands do this and sound all the same.

Similar music recommendations please!

I just started listening to goth music and I really like some of it… some of it I don’t really like at all. Could someone point me in the direction of similar sounding vocals/beats? So far I really like Black Planet (my favorite) by The sisters of Mercy, Forever Suffer by Dark, Alien by Lebanon Hanover, and Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge. Any recommendations?

Very good track, alongside “The Broken Ones”. Great album overall, tbh. Do y’all have any other female goth artist recs that sound similar to DD?

Anyone knows any bands similar to HANTE?

I really love Hélène de Thoury’s voice. If you guys have any recommendations for bands that have a Darkwave sound please give them!

Bands similar to Totenwald

So I recently discovered and got into Totenwald. What I was wondering, is if there are any other bands like that, where it's "Post-Punk with a saxophone". I would also like help regarding where to post this, if they aren't Goth 🙂

bands similar to the wraith that… aren’t the wraith?

i discovered the wraith a while back and loved their harder deathrock sound, but after hearing about all the controversies with them i'm really not comfortable listening to their music. does anyone have any recommendations for that kind of dark punk/deathrock sound, besides like, 45 grave or christian death?

Recommendations for bands similar to Vision Video, She Past Away, Twin Tribes etc.

Hello. Getting back into Goth music and style, after a number of years away, and I was wondering if there are any must listen to bands, similar to Vision Video, She Past Away, or Twin Tribes. Preferably newer bands, as I have listened to the classics. Sorry if someone else has already asked this before.

I have a longtime obsession with Rosetta Stone. Any suggestions from the community of similar groups or acts?

Alright, where to begin.

Developed my love for goth rock and any other dark genres associated, starting 20 years ago.

One group I cant find anything super similar to is Rosetta Stone. Something about Porl King's singing style, maybe the fact most of it is electronic… im not certain why, but i love Rosetta Stone over all of the other groups. I literally own every vinyl record Rosetta Stone has produced.

Ive seen some excellent taste in this subreddit, and hoping you all can give me a hand in expanding my music playlist, and vinyl collection if possible. Thank you all for being awesome.
