How do I host a cemetery picnic?
I wanna host a big cementary picnic every now and then for goths in my region to go to as a space that isn’t one of the very few goth nights that exist here (Triangle North Carolina). Anyone have any tips for just organizing it, getting food, making sure the cemetery is okay with it, just any and all advice you could give in general?

Goth music recs
Hey all! I’ve been feeling a bit stagnant when it comes to finding/listening to new (to me) artists, so I was hoping for some recommendations. I’ve included a list of bands I love and some that I like, but haven’t gotten fully into to hopefully help a bit. I’m also totally open to individual song recommendations. Hopefully this wasn’t too long of a post, thanks!
Loves: Nox Novacula, Diva Destruction, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Scary Bitches, Scarlet’s Remains, Mephisto Waltz, Twin Tribes, Skeletal Family, Second Still, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ghost Dance, Bauhaus, Yakima Jera, Secret Shame, Void Vision, 45 Grave, Belgrado, Selofan, Molchat Doma
Likes (For most of these bands I just need to explore the discography more, so song recs would be helpful here as well): Switchblade Symphony, Voodoo Church, Xmal Deutschland, Lebanon Hanover, Dead Can Dance

Feel free to discuss music, fashion, events, DIY projects, etc. and anything relating to goth as long as it's in line with the subreddit rules.

Introducing r/AskAGoth
Since we have recently got the subreddit up and running, I'd like to introduce it to the general community.
We often get a lot of complaints that we're only a "goth rock" subreddit and the truth is, this subreddit is more based on goth rather than what goths like.
Now, we have r/AskAGoth where you can ask anything like you like e.g. favourite horror films, literature, what your favourite ice cream is, what other music you listen to, etc. basically anything which isn't directly related to the goth subculture but is absolutely about the goth demographic.
Obviously, we have r/DarklyInclined and r/gothclub still but we don't solidly think of those subreddits where "goths can hang out".
This isn't to say (and at the discretion of any other moderator) that we won't allow interesting discussions or friendly debates (I hear you scoffing) but means that any time someone asks "How to be goth?" or "What to do as my parents don't approve of me being goth?" there's a chance it'll get referred there instead. We see these questions a lot and quite frankly, our frequenters are a bit tired of them despite having a wealth of information on this subreddit alone.
We hope that you appreciate the gesture and that it gets more popular… personally, I'm proud of my design skills.
