Looking for beautiful Goth love songs

I listen to goth music from time to time. Inkubus Sukkubus, Switchblade Symphony and Lena Lovich are my favourites in that order. Otherwise my playlist is a mix of various artists but I don't like Sisters Of Mercy.

I noticed I have pretty much no goth love songs. So if there is anything that comes to mind based on my taste or if you want to recommend me a favourite of yours, I would appreciate it, thank you. 🙂

ALSO NO SAD LOVE SONGS PLEASE

Cathartic Goth Songs

Hey y’all! Much like the title implies, I’m curious to know what some of your favorite cathartic songs from any of the various genres of goth? For example, I find quite a lot of Rosegarden Funeral Party’s discography to be cathartic.

Challenge: find the most campy goth songs.

Goth music is full of self aware tongue-in-cheek campy songs. I would like to challenge the community to find the most campy songs ever put out.

I will go first. I think “Go away white” by Bauhaus is exceptionally self aware and campy.

I’m interested to see what you all come up with.

What songs have you recently added to your playlist?

Just wondering if anyone wants to share what new music they’re listening to 🙂

Siouxsie’s songs about mental illness are underrated.

I posted this last year and thought I'd share it again, with a minor edit: "Christine" is about Dissociative Identity Disorder, not schizophrenia.

*

I recall an interview where Siouxsie remarked that if she weren't a musician, she might like to be a psychologist. (Or a gardener.) I think she understands human psychology incredibly well. A few songs off the top of my head:

Eve White/Eve Black (Dissociative Identity Disorder) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLhJm_87kQc

The Ghost In You (posttraumatic stress disorder) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etutVZoOHts

Burn Up (obsession with fire) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ww4awxmDWwA

Carcass (amputation fetish) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEbq05H_gaY

Voodoo Dolly (alcoholism) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Whu8m97ytUY

Happy House (society's obsession with appearing normal and perfect) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amR6-neQBPE

Christine (Dissociative Identity Disorder) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rtt_0OKzRek

Vampire Goth rock songs

Anyone have any recommended songs about vampires and stuff, but specifically not the kind of song you would hear at the beginning of Blade?

Goth songs to focus/study to

Hey, I'm a college student and have been very busy the past few weeks if not not months already. Lately, to help focus my mind while also calming my nerves to entertain me at the same time,( if that's a normal thing others can relate to or it's just a me thing, it just something that I've done recently). It helps but I've only been listening to video game soundtracks/songs such as LoZ:MM, ESV:Skyrim, and LiS obstacles by Syd Matters. I wanted to switch it up a bit and see if there are any goth songs from bands or maybe even albums that help you focus or give a sense of calm while letting you stay grounded but levitated in a way, ya know? Or at least I hope so.

To be a little bit more helpful, something along the lines of neoclassical(darkwave), etherealwave, hell even simple gothic instrumentals may do. Just something goth or gothic will do. Thanks!
