Teen Gothic

Just got the notification email of a ticket refund. Pretty disappointed. My band was going to play in San Antonio the night before. An after party of sorts for the Twin Tribes show happening at Paper Tiger. It was going to be a killer weekend. I’m not familiar with enough people who are involved with this fest, but it’s probably not too much of a leap to assume it’s because of visa issues caused by the cruel incompetence of the current presidential administration. Obviously this isn’t as bad as executing people in the streets, but it’s all connected. Whether you think you can ignore what’s happening around you or not, it will impact your life at some point.

For any local spooky people in Houston and the surrounding areas, tomorrow night come out to The End if you want to experience a genuine underground goth dance night! Returning from (un)death, Marble Orchard's DJ Kris Hex, along with DJ Shayn Blaqk, will be spinning the newest in Goth, Deathrock and Darkwave tunes, along graveyard classics! There will be vendors! Vision Video are on tour and have a Houston date. October 15 @ The End on the south side. Trying to spread the word and get people in the door. The program is looking great…turning into a bit of a goth night. 2 DJs, post-punk act LVKE JVAREZ and VISION VIDEO headlining. All ages

My wife and I are looking to get into our local scene, but I have no idea where to look. we're trying to find clubs, stores, and meet-up places in Houston/South Houston. Any help is much appreciated.
