I for one love them a lot so far

I was listening to the for the first time and I immediately love the band especially the song ( I’m doing time in a Maximum Security Twilight House )

I’m a baby bat (it’s been about 1.5 years since I started immersing myself in goth culture) and recently I’ve been just not really enjoying goth music like I used to. Instead, I’ve been listening to mainly 80s normie music while still partaking in all other aspects of being goth, such as DIY, aesthetics, activism, etc. So, this question goes out to any older goths, do you also experience this? If so, how long did it take you to be able to come back to goth music?

To clarify, I’m not a goth. Maybe I could be a goth if I tried! But I haven’t tried at least not yet. Anyway, I am a trans woman and this community is the only community besides my own that is consistently wholesome and kind to me. More open arms than you count.

I gravitate towards you in public spaces because I’m like “Okay, safe people. Safe people. Thank God. Safe people.” And I won’t even know y’all and I haven’t been wrong yet.

I pretty much only wear band shirts and I’m surprised by how much people have complimented me on my Siouxsie shirts. It’s happened 4 times in the last year, it’s pretty cool!

I’m slowly finding more modern goth bands that are really good Nyx Division is amazing the lead singer Domino Monet has such an amazing powerful voice that pierces my brain I’d highly recommend this band for people looking to expand their taste.

since i was young and absolutely fell in love with tim burton’s films, i have yet to see many people who look like me, and it gets in my head. it feels like goth style revolves around the pale skin, straight hair aesthetic, and though i’ve seen a few black goths, i rarely see any with natural hair, for example. feels like the very core of goth fashion encourages me to feel not good enough.

i know there are some out there, i just don’t know where to look. if there are any black goths with natural hair or people who know individuals like that, i’d be really really interested in seeing how they do their makeup and hairstyles. lately i’ve just felt so not-myself.

To be fair these are the only goth bands that I’ve listened to extensively, I’m sure if I knew of all that was out there my list would likely look very different.

i really want to meet goth people who live near me but it seems like the main way to do so is at clubs but I'm too young to go to one. what are some alternative places I can meet fellow goths in real life?

Hi I’m new I wanted to learn more about them! I was looking for Siouxsie and the Banshees and picked up The mission by accident I was hanging with my friend and I listened to the album I like it a lot! I wonder if people know more about them and other things they’ve done! 😀
