it's almost always listed by people when listing goth rock subgenres, but i can't think of many classic bands in the genre, other than little nemo, coldreams, and lost desert (and maybe modern eon? idk). i can think of more modern coldwave bands than old school ones despite the subgenre seemingly being a cornerstone of goth rock. it's definiitely less obscure than say grey rock or grave wave, but still

Hello. I'm neither a babybat, nor an elder goth, should I say, something in between. I myself know some obscure bands, but I like discovering new ones and I've recently been stuck finding either bands that sound exactly the same like the ones I know, or boring ones. Asking for gothic rock, post punk, darkwave and industruial (ik industrial isn't goth, but if someone knows some obscure industrial artists lemme know :>

I've been listening to Gothic Rock since I heard "This Corrosion" for the first time in 1987. Yet I never heard of Eyes of the Nightmare Jungle at all until about a year ago. "Shadow Dance" is probably the catchiest of any Goth Rock tune of the whole era. How was I able to be a fan of Sisters, FOTN, The Mission, and so many others without ever once hearing of Eyes of the Nightmare Jungle?
