Teen Gothic

Some days I wonder if I still have it in me. Can I seethe in rage at poseurs like I used to? Is it all just an act to be cool like all the other pissed off goths in the world? Will the dark table flip itself if I don't get mad?

Yeah. I've still got it. I'm just a little more diplomatic about its application. For arguing online the first rule is whoever gets mad and types a wall of text just lost. My spacing is fine. I'm going to keep telling myself that.

i’m studying in chicago and really miss the goth scene from my hometown but i have no clue where i might be able to find goth nightclubs/events.

i did hear about neo but all i can find about it is that it has been shut down for some time now, which breaks my heart. if theres anything similar to that i’d love to know. anything with industrial/new wave/dark d&b music where people dress alternatively is perfect. 🙂

i’d also prefer for it to be ages 18+ and not 21+ because im not 21 yet.

For context, I'm interested in setting up casual meetups within our scene in the near future. I love our club nights but sometimes I feel I'd prefer some wine and good conversation. I heard that my city used to have more casual gatherings back in the day (I'm in Boston), but those seem to have died out looong ago.

Do any of you host casual events out where you live? How do you go about doing that?

Peace ✌🏾

I wanna start collecting physical media. Ive searched it up in Google but all that's come up are CD collections of Prince and Tupac and some Lil peep here and there. Please help.
