What are some songs similar to “She’s in Parties” by Bauhaus?

Specifically the groove the bass has in it. It has a kind of ska feel to it. Actually mistook them for the Specials the first time I heard it until Daniel started singing.

Interpol and the Goth scene?

So there is this article I saw a while back with an interview from Interpol where they said they were a band who grew disillusioned with the New York goth scene kind of insinuating they were involved in it in their early days. I know Interpol are not goth but their brand of dark post punk is the reason I like goth music today and of the 2000's bands, they are among the closest to goth in sound and style. Carlos Dengler was also kind of a goth but from what I can tell his music tastes leaned more into metal oftentimes. Idk if anybody knows much else about this/ was involved in the scene around the late 90's and early 2000's or has certain opinions on them and their

Any recommendations for songs that sound like this one?
