Got tired of popular spotify baby-bat/introductory goth playlists with same songs by the cure and bauhaus. Wanna dive deeper. So please share your personal favourite ones! Compilations of specific sub-genres, creative/thematic playlists are very welcome!!

Specifically the groove the bass has in it. It has a kind of ska feel to it. Actually mistook them for the Specials the first time I heard it until Daniel started singing.

So there is this article I saw a while back with an interview from Interpol where they said they were a band who grew disillusioned with the New York goth scene kind of insinuating they were involved in it in their early days. I know Interpol are not goth but their brand of dark post punk is the reason I like goth music today and of the 2000's bands, they are among the closest to goth in sound and style. Carlos Dengler was also kind of a goth but from what I can tell his music tastes leaned more into metal oftentimes. Idk if anybody knows much else about this/ was involved in the scene around the late 90's and early 2000's or has certain opinions on them and their

I'm not even sure if this is considered goth but I've been obsessed with the low-fi/ambient sound it has and would love to find more songs with the same qualities. Recs would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I just really love the organ so if anyone has any recommendations of goth songs with an organ in it i'd be very appreciative!
