Teen Gothic

Has anyone had experience in the goth scenes on both sides of the Atlantic? I'm curious to hear how they differ – or if they don't. My theory is that the internet has made them more similar, but that they had more divergence before the internet made it easier to bridge the ocean gap.

I'd also be curious to hear perspectives from other parts of the world. I guess I find it interesting hearing how a subculture can develop differently through geography and wider culture.

I live in High Point, North Carolina and I am searching for fellow goths I can be around since I lost my mom in a homicide. I have no family/friends left and I feel like my goth friends I gain would be my family.

Hey there I was wondering if anyone was around the eastern side of the state. I know typically things are bustling out west. I was wondering about the top corner where CT / RI / MA

If anyone was into the scene or into making music of the genre / neighboring genre that'd be cool.

I'm just generally looking for friends and people to talk to in the scene, since I've been talking to maybe limited people the past couple of years and friends are in short supply.
