Any other bands that sound similar to Scary Bitches?

I adore Scary Bitches! I love their unique sound. Are there any other songs and artists who sound similar?

Also, I wish Scary Bitches would make more music someday.

Can you recommend any songs with guitar riffs sounding similar to the moment when you start a new game in Diablo 2?

When I was new into goth, I noticed that I liked songs with those specific sounds, like Killing Joke – Love like Blood

then at some point I bought Diablo 2 and started a new game and heard that:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO-vG8oPhhM&t=13s (the mentioned sound is at 13-second mark)

and immediately thought it'd make a good riff in a goth rock song. Well, the rest of the music from Act 1 was also good and had many elements that could be incorporated into goth songs.

I'm wondering – are there some songs I'm unaware of, that incorporate those or similar sounds? Or maybe after so many decades someone actually made a goth cover of Diablo 2 music?

Similar songs to Sacrifice by London After Midnight

I love the dark, atmospheric, and stormy feel of that song in particular, but I listen to a lot of LAM. I also adore the ominously romantic vibe similar to their song Demon.

Thank you all! <3

Hi I’m new to goth music and I’m trying to find songs that sound similar to Dissolve by Switchblade Symphony

I think the vocals sound really pretty in this song and I like how “spooky” it sounds.

Looking for similar music to Rosegarden Funeral Party

As the title states 🙂

I started listening to a "goth essentials" playlist last year b/c I've always been interested but had no idea where to start really, and among others Rosegarden really burrowed into my brain so if anyone has suggestions based on that I would love to hear them.

Modern bands similar to In The Flat Field era Bauhaus

Does anyone have any recommendations for modern goth bands with a similar sound to Bauhaus on In The Flat Field? I've noticed that most modern goth rock bands — at least the ones I've heard — tend to be darkwave bands or have a sound more reminicient of The Cure or Siouxsie and the Banshees or later Bauhaus (songs like She's in Parties). Don't get me wrong; I absolutely love that sound and all of those songs. But I also really love the gut-wrenchingly shrill tones of songs like Double Dare or Rosegarden Funeral of Sores. Atrocity Exhibition by Joy Division may also be a decent example of the sort of sound I am talking about. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I'm not particularly good at describing these things. I would really love to find more music that sounds like that because I think that sound is, put simply, fucking awesome.

Bands similar to Corpus Delicti

Hey all, Corpus Delicti is one of my favorite bands of all time and I'd love to hear more like them. Specifically love the tribal drums, twangy guitars and their specific kind of vocals (I get kinda tired of Andrew Eldritch-likes in goth). I also love the 90s dusty, dark, ancient Egyptian tombs n ossuaries aesthetic Corpus Delicti was known for so that's a plus

I also like Revenge of Nephthys, Siouxsie, early Lebanon Hanover, Mephisto Waltz, and The March Violets for a similar vibe but I'm looking for something more obscure (can be old or modern). Thanks!!

Bands similar to Pretentious, Moi?

Hello r/goth! I discovered Pretentious, Moi? a day or two ago and immediately fell in love with their sound. Do y’all have any recommendations for bands with similar sounds/vibes? I already listen to Rosetta Stone who I know they’ve been compared to, but I was wondering what other bands are out there!

More bands similar to Molchat Doma?

Obsessed with all of their music/sound. Most similar and only band I feel that hits the same spot as them is Dead Can Dance so far.
Suggestions? Recs? I'm open!
(also generally trying to get into goth culture and music is probably the best way for me to do that)
