I feel so proud to show my team's outfit's for our FIFTH FASHION SHOW in India, in a country with no goth scene IRL, it's so hard to be yourself and express yourself, but my aim with these shows is to atleast youngsters know Indian goth fashion exist and they can be Goth and Indian!

OK I won't lie, I had no idea this was a music based culture till 2 months ago, but now that I'm listening to the music, now I'm noticing when I dress up (even in highschool) people would call me goth, what if I dressed like this and never listened to the music like I did in high-school, would that be an insult to the goth culture, do u think there should be an education system of goth culture vs stereotyping cuse u wear all black and spiked collars?

Melbourne, Australia in the late 1970s and early 80s had a thriving post-punk and proto-goth music scene.

Some background:I recently got into the subculture and fell in love with the music, and I'm getting into the fashion and it's growing on me a lot recently.

I would like some ideas or recommendations in attire cause my entire wardrobe consists of dark colored sweaters, button ups, dark jeans, and a few band tees I got on discount. I'm on the smaller/shrimper side of that helps.

Also, I'm having trouble finding bands I like, and have just been listening to a few artists and playlists I have found in the wild, and from the sub. Much help would be greatly appreciated.
