Want to go to a goth show in London but never been before…. is everyone dressed in black?

MAY BE A DUMB QUESTION IDK but im scared and want to check, this is my first pair. Gonna delete when i get an answer

Everytime that I put a goth t-shirt or sweater my mom makes comments about how I'm weird/should stop wearing that "garbage". What should I do?

I really don’t identify with any subculture due to being an immigrant and being used to being considered an outsider but I like youse music and also punk it’s just if I dressed like proper goth I’d get bashed i left the house

Ok so ever since I was 12 I've loved goth culture the style, the music, the art I love it I really mean it and this week I've had an idea for an outfit I really really like

A white long sleeve shirt and black overrals with occult patches sewed to the back with some black converse high tops and one of those demon horn beanies to go with it

It's a very very simple idea but I love it. And the only thing stopping me from getting that is my parents, Why?

1. They don't even know I like gothic culture

   1. Because they think I dress "tacky" and they really want people to think they take good care of me (which they do) so if I wear anything outside of what they like they think that makes me look like a hobo

Im goth and I wear spiked chokers and everyone at my school thinks I’m into bdsm. It’s rlly annoying and makes me anxious. I won’t stop wearing it but I would like to put a little knowledge into their thick skulls

Now that’s not to say I haven’t, or that I don’t still own SOME but, it’s just not a priority for me anymore. I feel like I’m not valid a lot of the time. Just looking for confirmation that I’m not alone in this. 😀
